As previously discussed, this workshop is a launch into new adventures. I am glad I came and want to give some comments:

For quite some time now self-development and growth have been important in my life. I welcome opportunities to examine and reflect on my habits, preferences, priorities and values. Patrick's workshop theme offered many examples and exercises to review old behaviour, past accomplishments, failures. It also gave suggestions and structure to go beyond a self-inventory into dreaming, visioning, creating a plan and implementation.

I came away with a stronger will to pay attention to my intention. I appreciate the gentle but persistent way in which Patrick facilitates this process and the options he is providing in Being Different, Being Oneself.

"I picked up Patrick's new book, "Be Different, Be You" at a Toronto Organization Development Network meeting at the end of last year. It is a book based on his expertise and convictions as a coach that you can redesign your life to find more joy, and how to find the motivation and the capacity to implement these changes in your life. I was intrigued and attended his introductory workshop to learn more about his thoughts on this area. I especially appreciated the idea of figuring out what you actually want from life, writing your own script for happiness rather than playing along with what others want for us, and having the courage to want to change, and finally, finding the strength from within to go for it. I enjoyed it immensely the BDBY Workshop Level 1.  I felt so empowered, so positive at the end of the workshop.  I actually wanted to start planning my goals.  I learned that I need to be clear, really clear, about what it is that I want from my life.  It's not sufficient to dream about my goals.  I need to write them down and be specific about them.  Moreover, I'm learning, through the GSF, that I need to assign a timeline to my goals and be committed to them.

It was a wonderful experience to share the day with others who are as passionate about living a positive life as I am.  I also loved that everyone was so free and so willing to learn and to be honest and to share their lives and even their not so happy moments.  We ARE a community!!!

I love the new me who embraces the positive, the possible, and the pleasure that fills my life.  I have gained much and lost nothing.  Thank you so much!
